Palin = Great face + nothing else?
The election in USA is so far from boring, isnt it?
Even for someone who is not really into politics, the media coverage on the election is not exactly easy to ignore.
Anyway, how interesting is the vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin?
Like seriously, this pretty woman caught my eye when her name was officially announced by McCain, then she got me all intrigued when her 16 years-old single daughter was announced pregnant, then nothing else.
So yeah, apparently despite her pretty face and her occassional public appearance, she has been denying talking to the press, a total opposite to Joe Biden who has been seen campaigning around the media.
I saw the news earlier, where she went to see this one country leader and he seemed to enjoy her beauty a bit too much, saying stuffs like “if he (a publicist or someone in the meeting) insists, i might hug you” while shaking her hand for the second time.
The problem is, the cameramen were only allowed to take photographs or the beginning of the meeting, and they instantly got shoo-ed off when they started asking Palin questions or even just asking her for some statements. Palin’s people kept saying thank yous while gently pushing the media out of the room. No, really. Does Palin ever even talk for herself?
Her lack of public whoring is a problem indeed.
Even the critic of Washington Post and CNN, as you can read here, complained about her lack of media appearance. It is true that she has indeed been really inaccessible, which is weird. I would think that for the sake of votes, she should be doing more appearances and talking to the public through the media. Show us who she is, what she believes in, and what she aims to do if she gets elected.
THOSE are what i want to read about her, what i want to learn about her, not how she has been blessed by a Kenyan pastor to be free from satanic influence.

A deal has been signed, ladies and gentlemen!!
Tsvangirai is going to be the primer minister in charge of the National Security Council, while Mugabe stays as the president who still rules the cabinet.

Zimbabwe update: is there a deal?
I was gobsmacked when I read this news article indicating that there is an agreement of shared government between Mugabe and Tsvangirai.
The details of the agreement are not yet made, but it will be interesting to see how this might change the situation in Zimbabwe. After 28 years, will there be a change? Will the condition improve, will there finally be some freedom of speech in Zimbabwe? If Mugabe is still in charge of the army, i think it’s pretty useless having this agreement. This is the main concern voiced by a lot of Western goverment. I can’t wait to see how it goes.
